Mary is a first year graduate student working on the plasma side of PSPL under a NASA Space Research and Technology fellowship. She received her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 2019 from UC San Diego. She interned with JPL's Electric Propulsion group, where she worked to develop non-invasive diagnostics to be applied to a Hall Thruster. Her current research funded by the NSTRF is to develop a fast optical emission spectroscopy system for time-resolved, non-invasive diagnostics of a plasma device.
